Photo Booth Photos -- A Retrospective

Here they are! As I said over at Picnics, we have been hitting the photo booth at the OC fair for the past 4 years. After our first trip, when James was just 2 and William was just born, we were totally hooked. In fact, visiting the photo booth became my bargaining tool for getting Aaron to the fair. (He's not a fan. Except for the photo booth, the world's largest steer and chocolate covered bacon)

I have actually loved photo booths for a long time. Aaron and I have some great strips from when we were dating. I have strips from a photo booth I visited in Geneva, Switzerland when I was 17. I even have a strip of a complete stranger that came out of that same booth in Geneva. The man in the strip looked so mysterious and mafia like. There is just something about a photo booth. They are kind of magical. And so, we visit these booths at the fair every year. Now we have a tradition that brings with it some of our most favorite family photos. I want to share them here, in this magical place where I celebrate these days of mothering my little ones.
Let's hear it for the photo booth!

2006
James 2 William 3 months

2007
James 3 William 1

2008
James 4 William 2 Lillian 1 month

2009
James 5 William 3 Lillian 1
I have discovered I am not alone in my love for the booth. There are lots of us out there. I mentioned a couple over on Picnics. Check them out.
You should visit a photo booth near you.
3 near me are: Every July and August at the Orange County Fair, in the shop, Pull My Daisy in Silverlake and at the Museum of Photographic Arts in Balboa Park, San Diego.
Now go.
Photo booth.
You won't regret it.
