The View from my Window

Lilly woke at 6 this morning.  The boys were up soon after.  All I wanted to do was keep sleeping.  Why do they have to wake up so stinking early?  By 7 I felt like I was already loosing it.  William wanted breakfast and was whining about it.  Lilly wanted breakfast and was screaming about it.  I wanted breakfast and I couldn't have it cause I was making breakfast for everyone else.  Sometimes I want to lock myself in my room and hide under the covers.

But then, there is quiet.  And I look out the window and I see 3 blond heads bent over Legos.  I hear laughing and chattering and pretending voices.  5, 3 and 1 and they play together.  They are friends.
For all of that, there is this.  It doesn't make the that any easier.  Because someone is bound to scream at any moment, or cry or need something RIGHT NOW!  Life goes on.  But for now, this makes me feel a lot better.
