Girl Hair

So, I'm a mommy of a girl now, a 3 month old girl, and I already don't know what to do with her hair.
With James it was easy. It just grew straight up, everyone said he looked just like his Daddy, and it was adorable. (At least I thought so at the time. Looking back at some of his baby pictures, he did look a little crazy sometimes. Good thing love and new parents are blind)

William's hair just fell out and grew back into those beautiful curls. The curls that I would LOVE to have. The curls that made my dad call him Goldilocks.
Lilly has hair like James. Aaron likes to spike it up, but she doesn't look very girly that way. And, I must admit, I want my girl to look girly. If I smooth it down, she just has this patch of hair on top with a ring of seeming baldness around her ears. I don't want her to look like a middle-aged man doing a commercial for Hair Club for Men, so that doesn't work either.

Today we decided to experiment with a barrette. Lilly achieved 2 very different looks.

Pebbles. Pearls.

I think she's pretty cute no matter how you do her hair. I can feel baby fever coming on....

It's a sickness isn't it? It always strikes me a bit after they turn 1. So you're telling me that even after 4, you still have it? I'm in trouble!

OH MY GOOD GRACIOUS! She is ADORABLE!!! I love the pebbles look the best! Priceless! you can find those hair ties made out of velcro that work great in cute baby hair! Have fun what ever you do and keep taking those pictures!
