It makes you normal.<br /><br />I would suspect that the idea of fancy advent calendars stress out 95% of parents that feel they "should" be doing them. <br /><br />In the end, everything that we do, that doesn't directly bring glory to Christ is just extra, so I suppose it's really about what you would rather spend your extra time doing.
